Terms of Service

These are the terms for using FlatTest. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. We have kept them short and plain on purpose. If anything is unclear, write to support@flattest.app.

What FlatTest does

FlatTest helps you track backflow devices, log tests from your phone, prepare test report PDFs, and send reminder emails to your customers. It is a tool to help you do your work. It does not file reports with your water district for you, and it does not replace your certification.

Your responsibilities

• You are the certified tester of record. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for filing with your water district the way you do today.
• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Only enter data you have the right to use, and do not use FlatTest to break the law.

Billing

• FlatTest is $29 a month, flat. The 14-day free trial needs no card to start.
• Payments are handled by Polar. There are no per-test fees.
• You can cancel any time. You keep access through the end of the time you have paid for, and you keep your report PDFs.

Your data

Your data is yours. You can export your customers and devices and download your report PDFs any time. How we handle your data is covered in our Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes

We work to keep FlatTest running and reliable, but we cannot promise it will never be down. We may add, change, or remove features over time. If we make a big change, we will do our best to give you notice.

The honest disclaimer

FlatTest is provided as is. It helps you prepare and keep your records, but it does not certify your tests or guarantee that any water district will accept a report. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before a problem. Nothing here is meant to take away rights you have under the law where you live.
